I also have vouchers for Ski360... includes 1for1 hourly pass, 2for1 hourly pass and 15% off the hourly pass. All only to be used on weekdays though, and the vouchers expire on 31st March. Let me know if you want them.

More exciting news to distract you from exams with

Ski360 at East Coast Park is having a promotion. They have these monthly passes going at $399 for students. A monthly pass means that you can go cable-ski any day any time, for however long you want, as often as you want for a whole month.

So let's say you decide to ride 3 days a week, and there are four weeks in a month. Think of it like this:

399 / 12 = 33.25 a day

if once a week

399 / 4 = 99.75 a day

Their usual charge for students on a weekday is $27, and on weekends it's $37, but for just one hour. So let's just say this is way more worth it... than MRT Concessions.

Tentatively, our Prep Camp is held over a stretch of weekdays. If you'd like to help for the FO Camp but are busy over the holidays with ITP, you will be excused from the Prep Camp. If it turns out that all of you actually want to participate in the Prep Camp as well, but are unable to over weekdays, we'll try to see if we can work out another date for the Prep Camp.

Just yesterday, there was an interview about the SP Wakebaord club with Berita Harian, a local Malay newspaper. For publishing purposes, they'd like to take their own pictures of us riding.

Surf school: Quiksilver

Lesson type: Beginner, 1 lesson, 2.5hr
Price: $50
or
Lesson type: Beginner 2 lessons, 5h altogether
Price: $96

so,

TOTAL = TICKET + HOTEL + 1 LESSON = $345

or

TOTAL = TICKET +HOTEL + 2 LESSONS = $391

Transition to Walrus/Planet size-dom

There will be no training the next two weeks due to study breaks needed for our upcoming exams.

There will be no training during the exam period either.

Training will resume once holiday starts.

Holidays will also be the time we'll have our prep camp. Do come forward to let me know if you'd like to help out for the CCA Showcase (happening 27-29 April) and for the Freshman Orientation Camp, and also state how sure you are about being able to help out. Other activities such as the Bali Trip are currently still under consideration. Details will be released soon.

There will be no training this Thursday because of Chinese New Year.

CNY House Visiting
If you're free this Sunday to go about visiting together, RSVP on the event page that Chelsea had put up on Facebook, or contact her. And if we can visit your house, even better. The more people the merrier, and the happier I'll be collecting my long-lost angpaos. Please let us know at least a couple of days beforehand, so we can plan our route from one house to the next.
