Hi All,

Just a reminder and updates on some events.

1. SPWB AGM

Be reminded that the AGM is on 27 Apr 2010, Tues. Venue is the meeting room beside CLS Club. Door opens at 6pm, meeting starts at 6.10pm.

2. CCA Showcase

Members interested to help out are to inform me your preferred time and day latest before the AGM. The schedule would be released after AGM. Check blog post on CCA Showcase for more details.

3. SPWB FO Camp Helpers Briefing

All FO Camp helpers would have to attend a camp briefing at 6pm on 3 May 2010, Mon. During the briefing, helpers would have to pay the camp fees to me.

Camp fees: $5

4. Update on Club Tee Shirts and Singlet

Members who have ordered the Club Tees or singlets are to pay the appropriate amount to me after the AGM. The goods are expected to arrive before the FO Camp.

T-shirt: $25
Singlet: $20

Land Trainings during school term

Hi all,


In case you didnt realise, school is starting next week. Land trainings will continue to be carried out on Mondays and Thursdays. Refer to the sidebar for more info.

For water training bookings (until further notice), continue to inform Sarah of your preferred slot by Sunday, 3pm of every week.

Land training for 15th Apr

Hi all,

Land training on 15th April has been canceled.

However, FO Prep camp will be conducted instead. So, all camp helpers would be required to turn up.

Meeting place: Moberly
Time: 10 am

Please wear something that you do not mind getting dirty in. Also, if we are unable to finsh the activites on thursday, we would have to meet again on friday to finish up.

Btw, prizes will be given out for late-comers.

CCA Showcase

Hi all,

CCA Showcase is on the 28 - 30 Apr. 11 am to 5 pm everyday.

There will be two shifts each day. Each shift will have 3 to 4 members.

Shift 1: 10.30am to 2pm
Shift 2: 2pm to 5.30pm

For those who wish to help out, inform me your preferred shift and day by 15 April.

Helpers would be given LOAs for their shifts.

Winch Practice Session Canceled

Hi All,

Winch Practice Session on 12Apr has been canceled.

However, there would still be land training on that day.

Land Training for 5th April

Hi All,

Land Training on Monday, 5th April has been cancelled.

However, members are required to help out with the painting of the Club banner on that day.

So, bring along some paint brushes and old newspapers.

Meeting time and venue are the same.

Some Important Dates

Hi All,

Take note of the following information.


1. CCA Showcase Winch practice session is on 12th April. Members who wish to demo during the Showcase would have to turn up for this practice session.

2. SPWB Freshmen Orientation Prep Camp is held on the 15th April. All helpers would be required to turn up regardless of position held. Meeting time and venue would be annouced at a later time.

3. CCA Showcase would be on the 28-30 April. If you are interested to help out, drop a message at the Chatter Box.

4. SPWB FO Camp is on the 7-9 May. If you are interested to help out, drop a message at the Chatter Box or inform myself or Wirda.


If you are on attachment or have an M.C, you can be excused from the first two activities.
