Tri-Factor series 09 event helper

Hey guys &girls, we have messaged you all about this event and thank you for the overwhelming response^^V This would be the following details of the Tro-Factor series 09:

TRI • FACTOR SERIES: TRIATHLON
(Swim.Bike.Run)

Date: 13 September 2009
Venue: East Coast Park

The main point is that we're asked (or invited) to help out during the race. Here's a rough idea on what we'll be doing.

We will be stationed at various stations to keep a look out for people in distress or struggling for help. For example, if you were to see a female struggling in the water, blow the whistle and a speed boat would go to the rescue. Its like watch-keeping. The race would start morning time bout six and the ending time wouldn't be later than 2pm, just in case. It all depends on how long the racers take to finish the triathlon.

Confirmation on what time to meet would be told on a later date and please mark this event on your calender to keep in mind you have something on with us on 13th september. It would be a fun event and vouchers (maybe in a form of money$$) would be given to us for appreciation.

Basic Sailing Course (BSC) !!

SP sailing has invited us to join them for their BSC!

Time: To be confirmed
Date: To be confirmed (should be somewhere in oct.. after our batam trip)
Number of slots: in terms of 10..... ....... either 10, or 20, or 30, or 40......
Price: $150
Closing date/time to book with me: 30th August (sunday), 23:59

However!! if u want, u can choose whether to take the level one licence or not.. which is like a test..

that will cost about another 50 to 70 bucks depending on the number of people who is taking.(overall wont hit more than $220)

everything is still to be confirmed, as hadi (sailing vp) needs the number of people going asap.

SO!

if u want to take this course, pls book with me asap.. it will be first come first serve.

pls tell me the date that u will be free...

btw, i have to book in terms of 10 so as to minimise the overall cost.

(for eg, if 11 people signed up, i will reject the 11th person who confirmed with me)

Batam Trip update

Hey fellow riders, Happy National Day and here's a reminder and update on the Batam Trip which would be on the 4-6th October 2009 ^^V

Cheryl has already text message the people that are going for the trip that the dateline for payment is this coming thursday, 13th August 2009. Reminder: the trip is SDG$150. You may make payment to Kelvin, Lewis, Jalyn or Sarah, or, you may choose to drop by the clubroom to make payment to us (Kelvin, Lewis, Jalyn or Sarah). Either way is fine with us. Am i making sense here?

Please bring along your passports as we need information from you. Information like:
1) Your passport number
2) Full name, as in passport
3) Nationality
4) Birth date
5) Passport expiry date
6) Lunch choice (we'll get to that later)
We need these information to get YOUR ferry tickets. Bring your passports along so as to avoid that kind of mistakes yeah.

And for the food part. While cableskiing at Batam, there's a bento lunch provided and there are eight choices to choose from. Yum-yum;)
1) Nasi Goreng w/ Friend Chicken and Egg
2) Mee Goreng w/ Fried Chicken and Egg
3) Kung Pao Chicken w/ Rice and Fried Egg
4) Black Pepper Chicken w/ Rice and Egg
5) Stir Fry Beef in Ginger Sauce w/ Rice and Egg
6) Fried Seafood Beehoon
7) Nasi Padang (indo style chicken surry rice)
8) Vegetarian Rice served w/ mixed vege.

Please write all these information down on the piece of paper provided when you submit your money.

KNOB FIXED. sorta

OKAY UPDATE.

The dorrknob is KINDA fixed. Thanks to Kelvin for coming to save us from the 'monsters'. [ according to don ] * CLAPS FOR KELVIN!*
Actually, he changed the doorknob back to the old one. Cause some metal part in the knob got bent and stuff. D:

BUT, the door CANNOT be locked now. SO REMEMBER TO CLOSE THE DOOR AFTER YOU LEAVE ROOM THANKS.

DOORKNOB SPOILED! >:(

On Saturday, Cheryl and Sarah were leaving the clubroom. As you all know, we need to violently pull to close the door. In the midst of pulling, THE DOORKNOB RIPPED APART. D:

So yeah. We hope to get it fixed ASAP. In the meantime, take all your valuables with you when you leave the clubroom. Please do not remove the broken doorknob as we're leaving it there to action action abit la.

Anybody who knows how to fix it, please help us!:D

Sarah's Bday

STANDARD CHARTERED MARATHON

Guess all of yall know that we can register for the YELLOW RIBBON PRISON RUN anymore cause its full. D: ( If you dont know, NOW YOU KNOW ) heek heek!

Anyway, the marathon will be held on the 6th December 2009, Sunday.
Start Point : Esplanade Drive, The Esplanade Bridge
End Point : St Andrew’s Road, The Padang

We'll be going for the 10km run. Hopefully we can join as a team of like 4-6 people. If theres more members we can always form another team! HOHO! Im not sure whether its a marathon or not cause i have no idea whats a SCORING MEMBER. >:(

So, if you're interested, leave a comment and or text me okay? [ IF YOU DONT ALREADY HAVE MY NUMBER, GO BANG WALL >:( ]

OH and try not to take to long to confirm! Cause the registration's almost full! :D
